CJR The Columbian Journalism Review is the granddady of the genre, and every bimonthly (every two months) issue is available free at their site.

AJR, American Journalism Review The American Journalism Review (as the Washington JR) followed CJR in the media criticism business, and it publishes online the updated (at least) weekly AJR NewsLink.

Brill's Content Brill's Content is the newest journalism review magazine, and each month's issue is available at their site in addition to on-line only content.

FAIR

Fairness and Acuracy In Reporting, or FAIR, is a national media watchdog group that attacks the narrow, status quo-supporting range of viewpoints expressed in the media.  Extra! is their bimonthly media criticism magazine.

The Freedom Forum The Freedom Forum Online has media news and media criticism that focuses on First Amendment issues, especially freedom of speech and freedom of the press.
