In loving, living memory, John Melançon 1928 – 2007
Ate a banana from the ground while walking Zelda. Nope, New England isn't growing bananas but there was a store bought one lying on the side of the road... hey, they have skins.
Now let's try to ensure that isn't the high point of my day.
Oh yeah, had cereal with coconut milk, as I've had no soymilk around for forever and rather a lot of coconut milk cans... not bad.
Mocking bird eating my mulberries! Sitting on the little pine tree's upper branch trying to wolf it down. Pretty funny.
Yup, I'm working outdoors. The neighbors (same ones who took down our fence without asking a few years ago) have acquired a constantly yapping little dog, naturally. But I have more endurance.
Wonder if this much taller tree with bigger leaves that otherwise looks like our mulberry tree maybe is another one somehow, pre-mullberries. I hope so.

Went swimming that same afternoon and somewhat lackadaisically, back in the yard, got to 100 pushups and situps and (at least these were each all at once) 10 chinups and 10 pullups).
Lake had some wind on it, very different from morning June 28
Other lake reflections not relevant to this time around: the very loud and numerous frogs at night, and though a lot fewer that other morning, enough to interest and frighten Zelda.
